Svit pidvodnoho poliuvannia — a magazine about spearfishing

Svit pidvodnoho poliuvannia (Russian title «Мир подводной охоты», "World of Spearfishing") was launched as an attempt to bring together thousands of underwater hunters who fish in rivers, lakes, ponds, seas and oceans, often without access to specialised information. The magazine covers spearfishing as a sport and a hobby: equipment such as a speargun, mask and wetsuit, fish behaviour and where to look for fish, from carp and catfish in rivers to sea bass. Articles are illustrated and include advice from experienced hunters, for example on the kind of shelter catfish prefer.

The publisher is Fish Press Ukraine. The magazine comes out every two months and is published in Russian. The journals.ua archive holds 23 issues from 2010 to January 2014.

Each issue can be bought separately, from 20 UAH, and read online on a computer or phone; access is kept forever.
